Mage The Ascension Pdf 20th
With the upcoming release of Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition (m20), I have been wondering about running a campaign in that setting. I've gotten a few people interested to join, but one of them had the following questions for m20:
What are the advantages versus Awakening? This looks like a remake of Ascension
Also, Ascension has a horribly inconsistent setting, is that a good idea?
And are the rules nWoD update or special rewrite?
As I do not have a copy of m20 yet, I was wondering if any backers would know the answers to these questions. Based on the answers, I'll decide whether it is worth the wait or just to start it off now with the Awakening materials we have. Thanks in advance!

It's been a long time since I've paid any close attention to Ascension and I'm toying with wading back into the pool. Or, at least, the shallow end. Obviously the 20th Anniversary book has a ton more content, but a physical copy also costs a lot more. And in the short term the Revised book probably has all the content I'd need. (I used to own Revised many moons ago, so I have a pretty good idea of what's in it.)
Who ever played the famous Whacking games series probably know what I am talking about. Very bloody games free.
So, that said, were there any notable rules changes for how Magic or the core game rules work between Revised and 20th?
I know in Vampire 20th there were several really good rules updates. And because of that alone I'd recommend VtM20 over VtMR. Can the same be said for Mage 20th?
